Sometimes we need to talk about something other than IT, today is that day. I learned this AM that a young woman named Roxy Getter has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro at the tender age of 8. This on top of the fact that Roxy is also suffering from a heart condition.
My wife Mary and I summited Kilimanjaro several years ago and let me tell you, it’s not easy. For Roxy to have achieved this feat in spite of her physical limitations is just awe-inspiring, she’s the kind of person so many of us aspire to be or look up to. And she’s only 8.
